B3 Bienale @ Frankfurt Book Fair

My film The Lizard Gaze will be included in the screening programme by the B3 Biennial of the Moving Image.
The B3 Biennial of the Moving Image is presenting established and aspiring filmmakers from Great Britain as part of „TheArt+“ at the Frankfurt Book Fair from 10 to 14 October. This is the result of a cooperation by B3 with „Film London”, the central film and media agency promoting and developing the British capital as one of the most important international centres for film and media.

The B3 will be showing a total of 12 works on its 50 sqm stand via screens and Samsung Gear glasses, covering the whole range of moving images and subject matter from post-colonialism through depictions of everyday life to the current gender debate.

Those featured include the Frankfurt-born multimedia artist Lawrence Lek and the American filmmaker Daria Martin, who illustrate the guiding theme of the coming B3 „REALITIES“ in a particular way.

The works being presented at the B3 stand are the latest works by the nominees for the 2018 Jarman Award, which are being shown together for the first time outside of Great Britain, as well as a recent work by artists from the FLAMIN Fellowship programme for early career artist filmmakers. Some oft the works can be seen simultaneously at the Samsung Showroom in Frankfurt’s city centre.

In addition, the European culture channel ARTE, B3’s central media partner, will be presenting award-winning VR projects and 360 degree productions.
